The Zigong Youth Science and Technology Education Workers Association was established to implement the decision-making and deployment of the municipal Party committee and government on "ening youth science and technology innovation education", to solve the current problems of decentralized youth science and technology education resources, lack of teacher collaboration mechanism, and insufficient overall activities in our city The association is a non-profit social organization, aiming to gather the strength of science and technology educators in the whole city, build an exchange and collaboration platform, integrate high- resources, promote the integrated development of science and technology education curriculum innovation, teacher training, competition activities and science popularization services, and comprehensively improve the scientific literacy and innovation ability of youth in our city.

7月22日，自贡市青少年科技教育工作者协会第一次会员代表大会暨成立大会举行，标志着我市青少年科技教育工作进入组织化、规范化、社会化运作的新阶段。

关于“深化青少年科技创新教育”的决策部署，破解当前我市青少年科技教育资源分散、教师协作机制缺失、活动统筹不足等难题。该协会为公益性社会团体，旨在凝聚全市科技教育工作者力量，搭建交流协作平台，整合优质资源，推动科技教育课程创新、师资培训、竞赛活动与科普服务一体化发展，全面提升我市青少年科学素养与创新能力。

大会的召开得到四川省青少年科技教育协会、市科学技术协会、市教育体育局、市民政局的指导与支持。四川省青少年科技教育协会理事长王学定对自贡市青少年科技教育工作者协会的成立表示祝贺，希望协会积极探索新时代青少年科技教育新路，争取政府、学校、企业支持，切实加强科技辅导员人才队伍建设，为青少年搭建“科教合作”育人平台新模式，助力青少年科学素质提升。

会议听取了自贡市青少年科技教育工作者协会筹备工作报告，表决通过了《自贡市青少年科技教育工作者协会章程》及《选举办法》等文件，选举产生了协会第一届理事会成员。其中，曹强当选第一届理事会理事长。协会首批吸纳会员单位38家、个人会员52名，涵盖中小学校科技教师、教育管理者、及热心科技教育的社会人士。
